July 4th celebration...first trip to the beach!

Freedom comes with a heavy price and we are so very grateful to those individuals who serve our country to secure that freedom!!

Mr. Bode and his sissy
Happy 4th of July
Maryn threw back a cold one with her parents!

Maryn's first parade on the Isle of Palms

Yes, that's Elvis celebrating our country's birthday

This is the way we parade in South Carolina...miles of endless golf carts!

We took Maryn to the beach for the first time and decided to try to get Bode in the water again! He's a golden retriever, a water dog, and is scared of the water!

The calm approach...

....then the fear sets in and he panics!!!...

prior to running away, he jumped up out of the water onto Mac's back as if he wanted his dad to carry him!!!! Look at Mac's poor back:( Needless to say....it didn't go well

Maryn's calm approach...

...she loved it!

Of course she's wearing red and white stripes with a navy blue bow!

A quick nap from all the excitement! We just love where we live! The ocean is our child's backyard!

Then we headed to the Riverfront Park to watch the fireworks and enjoy the music!

We met up with the Cameron's, Harrison's and Commodore's!

Red, White & Blue!

Me, Laura, Jess & Christine
Laura is pregnant with a little girl due the first week in October and they live 10 houses down from us!!!! She and Maryn are gonna rule the neighborhood! Just look for the pink bigwheels!

My beautiful little firecracker!

Ella's such a big girl and just LOVES babies!

Mr. Justin practicing...he's gonna be a daddy in October

There's those hands again...her reaction to the first firework!

Missy blue eyes

The boys sharing their beer with Mare...she was cheering hip hip horray!

Mac was paranoid about the loud noise and her tiny baby ears!

I wanted to post this so you can see her new 'thing'....blowing bubbles and raspberries!

Maryn got the cutest little outfit from my cousin Adrienne who lives in Hong Kong with her husband and two children. We had to pose her with my umbrella that I got in Thailand to make it appropriate.
Thanks A !!

She loves it!

China doll

tummy time in the jungle...just a random shot to make you smile...makes me smile but I guess everything she does makes me smile :)

Madigan is a big fan of this display of the li'l firecracker. What a blessing to be free (to wear hairbows).
