Our Very Hoppy Easter

The weather has been amazing here..mid to high 80's. I'm welcoming spring in flip flops, newly highlighted hair:) and open windows! I just love this time of year and love it even more, now that we'll be planning a birthday party this same time every year. Nanny and poppop spent the holiday weekend with us, we attended outdoor mass on Sunday and then joined Mac's brothers for brunch and a little quality time with Mr. Easter Bunny.
I just love little girls in their fancy shoes with lacy socks:)

The fun began several days before Easter when Maryn received a box full of Easter treats from her grandma and poppop Cummings. Grandparents are the absolute best!
She had to give grandma a call on her new cell phone to thank her for the gifts.
And Bode was eyeing her Zhu Zhu pet hamster...it squeals and spins and freaks the heck out of him!
She's a fan of the blue hat...she told me that it brings out her eyes.
Thank you grandma and poppop...I'm one spoiled girl

Walking on sand is a little tricky...she better get use to it because momma and her girl are gonna live at the beach this summer. Mare was too little last summer to really enjoy the sand and salt water but this year is a whole new story...she loves the sand!

I hope that I can recreate the same feelings in Maryn that my parents did for me on Easter morning. The Bunny would always hide our baskets and would leave a little something special besides candy in our basket. It's hard to believe that these experiences and memories have only just begun for her.

nothing like a little bunny cottontail

pink Converses!

A 'bunny full o' money'...that nanny and poppop are too funny
Look at what happens to you when you become a grandparent

The two with ears on have these other two wrapped around their paws

There are those adorable fat ankles in lacy socks again!

She runs!

Did you really think that the mother who stuffed her 6 month old child in a pumpkin wouldn't toss her into her Easter basket? Come now.
I don't know why the guy on the left hasn't run away yet but I guess it's never too late.
Oh, and she sort of learned how to spell her name this weekend too!
We're so proud:)

Lungs collapsing at the cuteness. May you have a few dozen more girls who can enjoy that dress.
